YATO participates in an innovative student project

On 3 July 2019, students of the Automation and Robotics Science Club "Robocik" – PWr Diving Crew, operating at the Wrocław University of Technology, presented the results of their one-year work – a new autonomous submarine. It was created using YATO tools as we are a partner of the Club!

The ROV 4.0 model has innovative design solutions, space orientation system with automatic positioning function, artificial intelligence, integrated camera system and a stunning design. In addition, the boat has a manipulator and a six-shot torpedo launcher. The unmanned, autonomous boat from students in Wrocław – with the immersion capacity of 100 m – is an important step in delegating the most difficult tasks, performed so far by humans, to robots. At the end of July, ROV 4.0 will participate in the "RoboSub" competition in San Diego, United States. Congratulations and many more successes!
