This year's training season kicked off in mid-April for the young trainees and riders of the WTS Academy, with regular, intensive sessions taking place at the Wrocław Olympic Stadium and the mini-track in Przecławice. These preparations paid off with newly earned speedway licenses, which Krzysztof Harendarczyk, Błażej Pasieka, and Michał Obst (500cc class), Kamil Sewiło (500Rcc class), and Wiktor Gołębiewski (140cc category) have been boasting since spring. As a long-time technical partner, YATO makes sure that the workshops, mechanics, and the athletes themselves are equipped with the tools necessary to flawlessly prepare their motorcycles for every track appearance.
The hard work put into training quickly paid off with outstanding sporting results. In the 500cc class, the youngsters advanced to the DMPJ semi-finals from first place in their group, securing three victories in individual rounds. Krzysztof Harendarczyk, the runner-up in the IPE U17 overall standings, is showing fantastic form, but the younger riders also give us plenty of reasons to be proud. In the 140cc class, WTS trainees reached the podium during the team events in Rybnik and Częstochowa, while D. Biernat and T. Kończyło were among those celebrating individual success in the final tournaments. Meanwhile, Kamil Sewiło and Maciej Sibiński hold mid-table positions in the DPE and IPE 500Rcc leagues.
WTS cares about steady development at every level. The youngest group, consisting of eight children aged 6 to 8 on PIT BIKES, is currently learning the basics of motorcycle riding. We believe that long-term support is the key to becoming a champion, so we look with pride at the developing skills of the young Wrocław talents. We are keeping our fingers crossed for the second half of the season and wish the whole academy more safe victories on the tracks!
