Success of Karolina Pilarczyk in Kietrz

Success of Karolina Pilarczyk in Kietrz

On one hand - demanding for the competitors, brutal for the cars, unforgiving of mistakes. On the other - enchanting, with a unique atmosphere and a fantastic audience. That's what Kietrz is like and the Drift Open round taking place on its streets.

Behind Karolina Pilarczyk's team, representing YATO, was a challenging drifting round - a street race in the center of Kietrz, Opole Voivodeship. The track was difficult, technical, and surrounded by curbs, leaving no room for errors, as evidenced by the numerous damaged cars.

Competing in the Masters class with the weakest car in the lineup, Karolina Pilarczyk successfully eliminated successive opponents. In the final, she faced off against Piotr Kozłowski, the European champion. In the first run of the final race, just after the start, Piotr Kozłowski made a serious mistake, causing him not to complete the run. In the second run, he raced at an incredible speed, which Karolina's car couldn't match. This difference in speed, even though Karolina executed her run correctly, led the judges to award first place to Piotr Kozłowski.

Congratulations to Karolina for securing the second spot on the podium and winning the hearts of the fans!
