Optimization of accounting operations through hybrid human and robot work

Can automation revolutionize the work in the accounting department? Yes, and the implementation of process robotics in TOYA S.A. is a good example of this.

Thanks to Robotic Process Automation (RPA) technology and collaboration with Pirxon company, a robot named Stefan has become a crucial element in the process of accounting bank statements. In total, it reconciles up to 8 thousand transactions per month, performing up to 240 thousand clicks. By relieving humans from time-consuming and tedious tasks, it has improved the team's work comfort and brought tangible benefits.

Before implementing automation, the accounting department employee had to log in daily to the transaction platforms of various banks and upload bank income files. Then, according to several rules set by each bank, they had to book each transaction to the appropriate account. Currently, robot Stefan handles bank statements from multiple banks, booking and reconciling them according to different rules. The number of rules varies from a few to several types, depending on the bank. The robot is capable of extracting information from transaction titles and related PDF documents, booking currencies, and generating operation and transfer reports.

Hybrid collaboration with the accounting department proved to be a success, enabling the optimization of day-to-day work. The innovative robotic automation project has been an inspiration and opened up new perspectives for businesses.
